Lake Nokoni in Rocky Mountain National Park. This was the first goal of a very long day hike in Rocky. July 2000.

Molson, that is simply downright a gorgeous photo. Wow!

What'd you use for that? .35 mm?

Geez, that's just beautiful!

Thanks for updating a wee bit more frequently. Your photos are great!

The photo was taken with my old Minolta Weathermatic 35mm camera. It was an auto focus auto everything camera. So just point and shoot. It took nice photos, but allowed no manual control. I originally bought the camera for taking photos on white water rafting trips as it was fully submersible. That was a function at which the old Minolta excelled at. I noticed my scanner blurs the image a little. The actual print looks much sharper with better contrast. The other thing is I needed a wide angle lens to do the scene justice, but that option wasn't available on the Weathermatic. Oh well. It will have to do because I'm not making it back to Lake Nokoni anytime soon.
