Looks like comments are disabled on the Tribute post, so I'll leave mine here. Thanks for including me on that, it's very beautiful.
As for the purpose of life- I know that you've seen it because you've captured much with your photos and this blog.
Previously, I've envied those with strong religious beliefs for the comfort they seem to take, but after standing knee-deep in glacial melt water or skinning my feet on million-year-old rock, I've reached the conclusion that those with religion have merely tried to organize something which many of us recognize while swatting mosquitos under pine trees.
Don't despair, my friend. Sometimes the poorest people are the richest.
all i was gonna say was I have to come back to a computer with sound to see it properly but I like all the pine trees a lot. When I was v little I had a thing about pine trees. It's the way their branches hang in ball shapes in the sky
Hey thanks Whitenoise. I know all will be better and I will finally get to where I need to be. It just won't happen until next year. In the meantime I guess I'll just have to cool my heels right where I am at. I don't have to like it.
I'm with you on the religion too. Works for many, not for all. I have a saying that sums up my religious philosophy... "God created people. People created religion."
I'm not sure why comments were working on the Tribute post. They are enabled. Oh well. The internets aren't perfect either.
Gledwood hopefully you can get to a computer with sound. I guess that can be tough in an internet cafe. Maybe one day when you are out for your daily ping, you'll come across a freebie set of headphones. I think the music works well with the montage.
Probably a bandwidth issue going on there Gledwood. It depends on how much the internet cafe gives you. That video file is pretty big and can bog up the works while it is loading. The next problem could be the computer. My old computer does not play the video smoothly. Audio is OK, not video. It lacks the raw processing power to do the job right. Not enough CPU or GPU. Just my guess as to what is going on. Might be out of your control to resolve it.

Those of us who think we're going somewhere usually end up lost, anyway. Your road looks as good as any other. :-)
I agree with Whitenoise.
It's not where we start. It's where we finish.
Sweet pic. It looks like the road goes on into infinity.
looks more interesting than the road I'm on (perhaps)...
Hey that was 5 weeks ago! Come back!!
(& bring me a pika when ya do...)
