If memory serves me correct, this photo is looking north along 150 in the San Luis Valley. The mountains to the right are the Sangre de Cristo range. the Crestones are clearly visible in the shot. If all works out I will soon call CO my new home maybe not too far north from where this photo was taken. Given my luck lately though, I'm not going to hold my breath. July 2005.

Thanks DD. It now appears my house is sold. It's under contract and I am awaiting the closing. Then I will go through a period where I will be homeless, but not without shelter. I am entering the most uncertain time in my life and I don't know how it is going to work out, but so be it. As long as I can escape the Rust Belt, all will be good. Don't be alarmed if I disappear for awhile. I won't be dead on some Colorado mountain, at least not yet. I probably won't be able to get out west until next year anyway. Let the fun begin.
