that's definitely a yummy view and a half... are you allowed to build houses in the national park? ... or are there totally impractical rules and regs about what you're not allowed to do... ie it must be in totally natural 1000 times as expensive as bricks or logs local stone... etc etc..?

There are no private houses in Rocky that I know of. I have heard of private houses in some of the US National parks only because they were there before the park was created and they were allowed to stay. Most of the old homes and lodges in the parks are owned and preserved by the government. Some are open to the public. Others are used as admin buildings. Some are residences for the rangers. That is about all I know. I am not an expert on this subject or anything for that matter.

ps... what's this.. NO HEATHER in America? how weird!

in traditional Old English or Celtic it's known as "mountain's beard"... which you'll know exactly what I mean if you've ever seen a Welsh or Scottish mountain...

Howdy Gledwood. Molson is a Canadian beer. I've been known to consume a few every now and again.
